Well products and services are two completely different questions, while everyone of the people I dealt with during the entire process were great and I do love the Townie bicycle I did get I am still a bit confused that I could not just get a good old fashioned " Beach Cruiser" from what I have always thought of as " The Place" for beach cruisers in Southern California. Had the correct size inner tubes😀
Ran into an issue with my bike after unloading it for my morning ride. Only a couple of miles from the shop so I reloaded the bike and brought my broken bike in to the shop. A mechanic looked at it right away , diagnosed the problem, fixed it in a few minutes. I was able get my morning ride in with no issues during the ride.
You guys always give good advice, dont try to make me buy crap I don't need. Very informative
We love our trek bicycles. Took them in for the free six month service. Job was done well and, despite the shop being short handed that day, the work was done on time and the tech ( I think his name was Jesse) explained what he did and gave us some tips about maintenance which was greatly appreciated.

Dave and team did a great job. I was interested in purchasing 2 e-bikes. Dave helped me assess the options, provided me with a test drive and eventually purchasing 2 new e-bikes and desired accessories. Support was excellent from start to finish. They even assisted loading the bikes into my car. Highly recommend.
I had a fantastic experience at Jax Bikes on Saturday, August 23, 2025. I made a purchase of $385.63 around 10:50am at the checkout station near the bathroom and changing rooms. The employee who helped me (I did catch his name, but unfortunately can’t remember it now) was outstanding.
He guided me through selecting the right equipment for my upcoming triathlon and made sure everything fit my needs perfectly. He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain options without ever making me feel rushed. Thanks to him, I left with exactly what I needed and couldn’t be happier.
This type of service really makes a difference, and I’m grateful for how smooth and positive the experience was. I’ll definitely be coming back to Jax Bikes for future gear and highly recommend them to anyone preparing for a race or just looking for great service and equipment!
