Exceptional service!
Prompt response, helpful and enthusiastic staff, and friendly atmosphere.
brought my bike in for service with a few items that needed repair. Fork was to be sent to be rebuilt , lockout repaired , check bushings on suspension and replace spoke. Two weeks later ger email bike is ready. Drive from my home in Reseda all the way to SM only to discover the only thing done was the spoke . I could have done spoke myself but figured the bike will be out of commission for a couple weeks already , I'll just have shop do it.
$74 to replace spoke and no other repairs were done. I wasted a trip to SM and practically a whole day and had to leave bike there so it will be probably another month before I get bike back and I had several rides planned. I have already spoken with the manager , who was supposed to get back to me , but so far no call back.
Wilbur always does a great job for me
The guys at this shop do not act condescending or rude towards me (I am a woman). This really sets you apart from most bike shops. I will be coming back. Thank you :)

My son and I were going on a bike ride and our tires were flat. We get all our bikes and accessories at Helen‘s so we swung by to get some air. They take such excellent care of us! Right down to that little detail of air pumped with a cheery smile.
We had a very nice conversation with one of the merchants named Josh. He took such good care of us. I was able to get my son a water bottle attachment while we were there and they put it on right away.
I mentioned to Josh that my kickstand never held my bike up. He immediately took care of me and put on a new one. And did not charge me for that fix! (or the air in the tires for that matter)
Presto my bike can stand up on its own! We had a lovely bike ride home from our adventure at Helen’s!

staff seem grumpy
The inner tube in my newly installed tires popped during the first mile on my first ride. I think the tire was over-inflated.

Amazing knowledge and service
Every time I bring my bike in for service, your mechanics always do an excellent job. If you don’t have the parts in your shop. It doesn’t take long to get the right products.
I've been a customer for many years because the service is always top notch. My most recent visit was for maintenance on my Trek Domane SL6 (new tubes & tires, chain, brake pads). Brooklyn (the technician) did a great job and the bike rides like new again.
