Everyone recommended to me this store but I had a very mixed experience: I came in 4 times, and am usually not welcomed in and not helped for some reasons. I also just tuned up my bike and no one explained to me the problems the bike had, it was my job to discover them afterward.

I believe I was overcharged on my last visit. I paid $50 to have my electronic shifters and derailleurs synchronized.
I can always trust Helen’s to guide my choices with bicycles—-for the last 3 decades and recently with an e-bike purchase. Honest and trustworthy bicycle repair and maintenance is also a bonus.

Fair prices & excellent service. Cameron and Wilbur are the best. Seems that Jay treats his employees well, they stay forever .My only gripe are the hours. Why not have 10 hour days, employees would work 4 days a week, save on gas. Or like SMPD work 12 hour days 3x a week with an additional 8 hour day during the month to make up the 4 hours a week to get to 40 hours.

I love to deal with and support local businesses. Monty is my go-to person and have purchased many items including a Pinarello Rad Bike, Santa Cruise Mountain Bike, and many other items over the past several years. This time, I came in to pick up a bike for my 4-1/2-year-old grandson. I was pleased that Monty was able to sort out the size of the bike and directed us to the best available choice. I purchased a Trek 16" and my grad-son just love his new bike.

Chris was great! Very helpful and did not try to up-sell us but just made sure we had everything we needed. This is our second purchase at Helen’s and we will def be back.
I had to bring my bike back 2 times for things that were forgot to be done durring maintance. I had a whole new drive train put in but they forgot to replace the jockey wheels. Then when they did repalce them they didnt grease them so they squeaked a lot so i had to bring it back in to get lubed. would have been nice for it all to be done on the first go, but the team was very nice helping me to the end solution of a new drive train for my bike.
