I feel very fortunate that the Parker shop was able to have my desired wheelset in stock one day after asking about availability. This is great service, especially considering current supply challenges. I was also surprised to find the freehub body and centerlock lockring threads covered in grease. The rims also needed a good cleaning. Without further information, I wonder if these wheels were previously used and returned. There could be a good explanation for a $3K wheelset coming out of the box looking like a used product, but it should have been disclosed before the time of purchase.

My bike was fixed in a timely manner and seems just like new! The team was very friendly and communicative while fixing it. This was my first time at elevation cycles but I definitely will be going again whenever I need bike gear or repairs.
