Service was good and fast. They were honest which is so rare these days. I would definitely recommend them.
We love coming to see Mike and his son Kevin, as we have done for many years. They are kind, efficient and friendly. Recently we expected to wait a week for my bike’s repairs and yet it was available the next day!
They have an incredible collection of bikes and accessories, especially now where they have expanded into their beautiful new space. We’d never consider taking our bikes anywhere else, though there are many bike shops near where we live in Palo Alto.

This is a family owned and run business. Staff is very friendly.
There’s only one person handling service, repair, upgrade. He is an expert. We have 6 different bikes and they really know what they are doing there.
Before we started going to them ( which is 10 mile drive from Palo Alto), we used to bring our bikes to REI and other bike stores in Palo Alto for run of the mill bike issues. We end up bringing the bikes back to fix simple issues and adjustments.
Now we don’t mind driving to Chain Reaction because they always resolve or issues.

I was not called that my bike was not ready so I showed up for nothing.'
I was told the wobble in the tires would disappear after riding the bike for a while.
After putting 30 miles on the bike the wobble remains.
The liners were not put in properly and need to be corrected.

Purchased 2 higher-end Trek ebikes both with full complement of accessories. The level of customer service through the purchasing process was exceptional. Becky did a great job educating us on the use of a bike that can go 28 mph. Becky’s father created a custom bracket for our radar/light. The experience was one of the best we have had purchasing large ticket items. Both bikes were delivered with all accessories assembled on the bikes, Becky quickly got our iPhones paired to the bikes computers and we were off and riding. What a great experience – way to go Becky and Chain Reaction Cycles. 10 stars plus!
