I brought my son's bike in to be serviced and paid $300 and had to wait several days for it to be fixed. The team at chain reaction was friendly and I also ordered a new bike for over 1k, which also took several days to come.
When I came to pick up my bike the next day my son took it to school and almost got in a terrible accident. His bike was NOT ok. We took it back (huge hassle) and the team there said that they replaced the chain but didn't replace the cog the chain connects to. They explained that when one breaks down you have to fix the other. THEN WHY DIDN'T you do that in the first place?? On top of that they now charged me over $50 for the new service, and my kid has no bike to school as neither the new bike or the old bike are fixed.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE and I'll tell all my friends to avoid this shop in the future.

Service was great! Took my bike in for a tune-up and they were very thorough about asking me the history of the bike so they had the best possible understanding of how to work on it.
