We went to Big Bear, on a recommendation from a friend, to look at mountain bikes.
The advice given was excellent and primarily focused on the lady who was going to use the bike. There were no heavy sales tactics, just friendly support and encouragement to try different models to see which worked best. The staff made adjustments to each bike in response to comments and quickly homed in on the right solutions. In the end we bought two!
Delivery was quick and efficient with the bikes dropped to our home address in only a few days.
I have already recommended them to others.

Nothing is too much trouble and you are not put under any pressure or obligation to buy. They offer advice to all and after sales service is excellent.
From my first enquiry by email, which was answered immediately even though the shop was closed, through to walking away with my bike, every single person in the store has been amazing.
I’ve looked in many places for a new bike and either been disregarded as they had bumper sales or turned away as an additional, unnecessary distraction. Not at Big Bear! Despite how busy you are / have been I was looked after and given time and options and superb advice. Great friendly staff. We initially spoke to a younger lad and then after browsing for longer a guy about late 30s helped us (has 3 Yorkshire terriers if that narrows it down!)- he was really knowledgeable, helped us with colour availability and even lifted the bike into our car as we were struggling to get in it to transport home.

The service was very good from start to finish. From entering the shop Alex quickly established our requirements. We were shown a range of bikes and Alex was very fair with his assessment of the bikes in the range.
On identifying a model a test ride was quickly arranged at which Alex gave a comprehensive rundown of the bike and its functions.
Purchasing the bike was quick and a number of options were discussed of which Alex gave good advice.
Arranging pick up was swift and hand over was comprehensive.
Alex was professional throughout.
