This was my first experience with BSP North Vancouver, and I am sure it will not be my last.
My Specialized road bike had a chain skip issue - one that I had already had another shop in Vancouver work on. The issue had been mis-diagnosed by the other shop, and Todd was able to quickly point out the true problem, propose a solution and catch a few other deficiencies. Not only that, the bike was fixed by the next day, including parts! It now rides and shifts like a dream. If your ride needs a fix, check out Todd at BSP North Vancouver. You will be pleased by his over 40 years experience, and enjoy the professionalism of the whole team. I have found my new favourite shop!

Lovely support from your team. The member who was assisting us (I dont remember his name) was with a torn ACL from football and his name started with "V" - I believe he was from India as me and him discussed going home and moving.
Anyway -- he was great! He spent over an hour with me and helped me try 4-5 different bikes, take them on a ride. Then we fully serviced it.
I thoroughly recommend and I am super happy with my bike.
My bike was ready for pickup within a day. Upon arrival it was quickly brought out from the back and ready to ride. I ended up also getting a new pair of cycling shoes. Each of the staff members that assisted me were all very pleasant and knowledgeable.
I’m excited to have found a bike shop just down the road from my house. I hope you don’t get sick of me.

however, I question the $100 charge to get firmware on an electric bike updated. Seems tremendously excessive!!!!
The mechanic who helped me yesterday was incredibly quick! He fixed the problem with my bike very quickly, and thanks to him, I was able to go for my ride. Thanks a lot (I've never seen a bike shop in this city that helped so quickly before)

The mini bike up I purchased was very easy to use and compact. What impressed me the most was one of the employees working in the back. After attempting to pump my back tire with the pump I bought, I noticed there was an issue with my tire valve. I walked my bike back to the store and this employee (I never got his name but I want to say he had a French accent) fixed my tire in 10 seconds and didn't even charge me. I'll definitely be back simply because of him. Unfortunately I don't have his name but this took place at around 2pm on Saturday, April 25th, 2026.
I think all the employees are extremely knowledgeable and kind. The products sold here are fantastic and I never feel like I am being sold a service or item I don’t require.

Service, product mix, and prices are excellent IMO. I was recently shopping for a new bike and BSP really stood out to me! I am looking forward to many happy miles (kms) on my new Turbo Vado 6.0!
