My bicycle needed some love and after a few hours at Bicycle Habitat, it's now like riding a magic carpet.
Bicycle Habitat was fast, friendly and good---everything you'd want in a bike shop.
The fix was fast! What needed to get fixed was fixed and the bike is riding smoothly. And it was not expensive :-).
The retail staff at this store are the best! Knowledge, approachable, thorough and kind.

I use a wheelchair. I buy parts online and have them shipped there. My wheel locks did not hold the other day. I just stopped by for them to top up the air in my tires. They told me I had a slow leak and put in a new tube on the spot.

The reason I still maintain myself as a Bicycle Habitat customer is because it is a small business and a business that exists in Brooklyn. While I wish you would expand to neighborhoods with a more diverse demographic, the service and the professionalism from the current staff is amazing.

Salesman Matt was super knowledgeable about many facets- taking into account issues that would affect my son's bike experience- ie wider pedals, and upgraded more wrist-supportive grips. Very good experience so far, of course we wont really know til we pick up the bike tomorrow.
