Everything about this place that’s the reason why I keep coming back always been a pleasure service is perfect
The mechanic is great. Friendly, efficient & fair. Other staff was very helpful. Even though it was a very busy Sunday, they acknowledged and greeted each customer as they came in.
I took the bike to the shop on Vanderbilt because my back tire kept deflating. The person who did intake took over 40 minutes to diagnosis the tire needed replacing and to print an invoice. Better coordination between the shop mechs and the sales department would go a long way to streamline that process. Especially since I saw someone sitting behind the register the whole time on their phone.
I was charged $5 for putting the bike on the stand and some other part of the invoice. All in it was going to cost me $74 to replace a bike tire and tube with service. I agreed to it thinking having the shop do the service would ensure I didn't somehow mess up the new tire.
I was told the part would be ordered and I would be notified by a sales manager of estimated time arrival. I received no communication until the part arrived and I was notified I would be charged for not picking it up. That was so frustrating as I had no ability to plan for that service and had to squeeze it in around picking up my kids from camp to avoid fees. This felt like a huge miss as I got the impression that the shop only cared about its ability to turn over service not take care of its customers.
When I took the bike to the shop to repair the tire it took over 5 minutes to get someone to greet me even though I was the only one outside the shop waiting for service. Once a mech did arrive they took the bike without any conversation and handed it back to me without any follow up. It felt so cold and transactional. There wasn't even a confirmation of what was done while in the shop. I wasn't offered to keep the previous tube, which was new and intact. I wasn't even told to have a good day.
For $78 I could have bought two of the tires online and done the service myself. Given the service provided I feel like that is just as well in the future.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They helped me choose the best bike for my son—and it wasn’t the most expensive one. It was just the best fit. Even for the add-ons, nobody tried to sell anything more than we needed (a bell, a kickstand and a helmet). My kid left the store loving the bike, and I did too.
Masks, masks, masks! We're still very much in a pandemic - protect your employees, protect your customers. Otherwise, love y'all, you're wonderful.

Awesome service! Came in to fix a flat back tire on my e-bike. Usually I have no luck at local bike shops because my e-bike is an older model and a bit complicated; these guys got me fixed up quick! Thanks so much

Damaged my brake hoods during a handlebar swap, new tape also a little torn.
My bicycle was repaired and ready for me the following day, quicker than anticipated. BH also explained in detail what was replaced, why it had to be replaced and even gave me the parts that were removed. BH also cleaned the entire bike before releasing it to me. However, I was a little blown away by the overall cost. If this can somehow be improved, it would be a major plus.
