What our clients think of us!

While overall the house was clean, there were several oversights that left me disappointed.
* Floors had been mopped, but there were still spots with stuck on stuff that wasn't scrubbed/removed.
* I found items under a couch that indicated it hadn't been vacuummed under.
* The grate on the front/bottom of the fridge hadn't been dusted or wiped clean.
* While 2 sections of the kitchen counters had items moved and the counters wiped underneath, there was a section where it was missed.
* The bottom of the hutch hadn't been dusted.
* The legs of the dining room table hadn't been dusted.

Essentially, a number of things down low were missed.

Kitchen and bathroom were much cleaner than I can get them with the products I use. It was relatively easy to schedule and the team came on time.

The women were timely, professional and cleaned extremely well. I will use them again.

Service has been inconsistent, and rather frustrating as of late. I've already expressed my concerns over the phone & customer service has been fantastic - no complaints there.

I hope with the change of our team for our next cleaning & beyond, we'll experience consistent, thorough cleaning each and every visit. Our last visit was highly disappointing, after asking to specifically address floors & showers, the hardwood floors were only vaccumed, not washed, leaving spots where spills were still untouched. The showers weren't even touched (washclothes left on the floor & nothing on the shelves removed to clean the shelves). And only a couple tables were dusted throughout the house. The sofa table in back of the sofa had a film of dust on it.

Bottomline, I need a service that I don't need to check each time to ensure quality. I feel we treat our cleaners very well, tipping often & well, and I think we were taken advantage of with this past team. I'm looking forward to Friday's cleaning & hope we return to consistent, thorough cleanings each week.

Colleen is our primary Merry Maid with an occasional helper.
She is very good and thorough and a pleasure.

Any clorox/lysol based products for use on any fixture and floor in the bathrooms is good.

We try not to be here so an input for an eta that morning is most helpful.

It was awful. It barely looked like the house was cleaned. I'm not one to complain but my wife is so dissappointed with the service she insisted I say something. And she has a good point. For the $300+ dollars I spent I expected much more. Everything that was cleaned looked like it was rushed. Like they were trying to get in an out. I even found dirty pink merry maid rags laying around the house. Not a single window was cleaned, which they should have been for the amount of money I spent. I had to revacuum my living room. The corner of my dining room still had tumble weeds of dog hair in them. The bathrooms were fine, but other than that I am very dissappointed. To the point where I feel obligated to tell people not to use your service

Following the cleaning done by Merry Maids on the post construction site, I personally had to wipe down the entire border of the premises. There was dust left on many surfaces and along edges of walls, prints left on the glass, and remnants left behind after vacuuming. I was utterly disappointed and frustrated that I needed to pick up the slack on site. I genuinely believe I should be reimbursed for the time spent on this half-done job.

Very very thorough clean up.

I like that they always come and in the time frame promised. We have Nancy who is professional, thorough and friendly. We are coming up on our one year anniversary and we find ourselves satisfied enough to continue the service

Highly recommend Merry Maids, they are extremely efficient, trustworthy and they are doing an amazing job keeping our office clean!

It was a very surface clean. The floors under my furniture we not cleaned and the shelves that had things on them were not dusted.

To start off with I don't want to do business with anyone that lies. They went to my father's house and were there for one hour, at best. When I called to complain about the fact that they wanted to charge me $280 for a "deep" clean, they said that was the charge for two hours. Apparently the two women that cleaned my father's home, told them they were there for two hours. My father called me when they showed up and when they left, as he too was in disbelief that they were there for such a short amount of time. There was no "deep" clean done there. They did the bathroom and kitchen... keep in mind that both rooms equal the size of one room, as the entire house is only 798 sq. feet. They vacuumed an washed one floor. i asked about dusting the living room and they told me it would be another 50 dollars? i have my own cleaners and have been very happy with them for years.... i pay less than half for service and my ladies are at my house for at least 3 hours.. and i only have a 900 sq foot house. Unfortunately, my people couldn't put my dad on their schedule as they were too busy, but when i go to look again for my Dad, it will not be with Merry Maids.

Very expensive and cleanings are not consistent. I deal with the office in Hingham with the exception of Melissa very unprofessional. I wish I didn't sign a contract, now I'm stuck with this horrible service. In good consciousness I could not recommend Merry Maids to anyone! I should have researched the company. People I talk to have nothing great to say. I extremely disappointed.

All 3 women that came to my house were very hard working and got the job done. Thanks Merry Maids would definitely use you again.

Your cost is a bit high.

-deep cleaning was not deep at all - didn't even mop floors
-some items on cleaning checklist are not done regularly
-kitchen counters are wipes, but caked on crud still left there
-don't move toaster oven to clean under it
-mop kitchen floors, but don't scrub them so marks and stuck on food still stuck there

The first time I hired your service, two people came and quickly cleaned my apartment but it wasn’t a true deep clean. Dog hair was still prevalent and when I did the “finger check” for dusting, there were multiple areas that weren’t even touched. Also, I had to leave early so I left them the key to my apartment and they left my key in the front door which is extremely dangerous for me and my family. The second time I hired you, you sent one person who did her best, but she obviously had another job because by the end she quickly cleaned my apartment without even vacuuming my room. If she did vacuum, it’s a week vacuum because my kitchen and living area were poorly done as well. She was starving and we gave her lunch so we could tell she was being overworked. We specifically asked for blinds and appliances and while she did her best, it was too much to ask for one person to complete this task.

House is always very clean and the products leave a clean aroma. Always enjoy Nancy coming through our door. She does her job throughly and we still have time for a chat. She is a great person, and an asset to your company.

I like when I get a call telling me when they will arrive, they show up when they say they will.
When Nancy arrives she goes right to work and does a complete cleaning of the house I am always pleased the house is spotless when she leaves. Living alone and never cleaned a house it is a comfort to me when people visit I have a nicely cleaned home. Don't know much about the products used but the house smells great when done, very happy Nancy is the person that comes every time as she knows the house and i don't have any worries. Pleased with this service.

The first "deep" cleaning was very disappointing......stairs not vacuumed, toilets barely cleaned, not scrubbed, quick mop on the hardwoods floor with visually dirt left. The floor & toilet redo was much better but I can't really judge/recommend until I have a full successful cleaning (hopefully today!)
