CONSISTENT TEACHERS
More space at least for Saturday classes, those Clases are too crowded and don't think children pay the attention That they should be paying to get the most benefits of the class because of the number of children in only one classroom, and also I would like to see more interaction between teacher / student.
We just started with the program and still need to see how my child is improving at school. At the other hand he likes to go to the program. That is a thumbs up!

I think it will be better if teachers and sylvan staff in general know about high school test or schedule for each school where students are applying so they have an idea when the kids are going to take the test and for which school.

Ensure clear and consistent communication by staff to parents on test results and how the test is structured (e.g. How does the student progress through the testing format.)
Monitor the student's status closer to ensure earlier identification of strategies to improve performance. We had three different points of contact during our 10 months Sylvan. Granted the first two were leaving Sylvan and they were nice and knowledgeable but the first two lacked the assessment and thoughtful strategy development to address the student's slow progress. The last one, Erin provided thorough and thoughtful responses to our questions which were partially answered by the previous ones.

MY daughter is with SYLVAN since her freshman year.Aside from doing homework support ,my daughter continues to progress in Reading comprehension and essay writing.ALL THE STAFF ARE COMMITTED TO MAKE SURE EVERY SYLVAN STUDENT LEARN NOT JUST WHAT THE CURRICULUM BUT MANY OTHER EDUCATION TOOL THAT SYLVAN OFFER
The flexibility, the friendliness of the staff, the ability to have a mixed curriculum..just to name a few plus of the Sylvan of SF!
My child is new to Sylvan (3 sessions thus far). So far, staff has been professional and courteous. Seems organized. Flexible with sessions when my child has doctors' appointments, etc.
My son's Math grade has improved considerably and his attitude to studying is a lot better. He's perfectly capable, but let's himself down and doesn't try. Sylvan is helping him to reach his potential.
