Administration and manager bad communicator and there are inconsistencies
I bought a groupon to find out that it is not honored at that location
I was explained that if I use financial assistance and pay up front for a package that I will receive a discount on an hourly rate by one person that Kelley manager said it’s not the case
Finally when I decided to pay our balance and just leave ..I found out I was added 50$ registration fee which I promised will be waived when I registered because of the miss understanding with the Groupon
Either way .. the system might be good but if the people who run the place are not consistent and not flexible it’s not worth it!
When parents requested for writting tutoring,
the teachers who assigned to students are supposed to be specialized on teaching writing. If not, parents are supposed to be informed.
Good teachers are leaving. Sylvan should think about how to keep them.

Our daughter enjoys the program but the parent conference wasn’t very helpful in informing us about her progress. I also requested a demo and never heard back.
I'd prefer it if the math my daughter worked on at Sylvan more closely aligned with what she is doing at school.

Lower Pricing and more scholarships
Consistent staffing --- Our daughter is usually with a tutor who knows the subject matter she's working on, but sometimes she gets assigned to someone who doesn't. Last time she was assigned to a tutor who didn't know how to help her with her math so the tutor told her to just google it on her phone. Not exactly what we're paying for..... but most of the time it's fine, as long as she's with her regular tutor.
I wish there was a way to do an hour of reading/writing and an hour of math in one 2 hour session.
Teacher Laura is amazing and my daughter really enjoys working with her.
The rescheduling process could be easier and digitized. Also tracking the students progress should be available on any browser.
Flexibility in scheduling (open on Fridays)
