I think the employees are great and the key to the success of the children, from the teachers to the regular staff. They have helped Kailee grow and become more confident in what she is doing. I recently learned during my one on one meeting with Melissa that Kailee has been volunteering to read in class. Completely surprised me to hear such news, it was so wonderful knowing how shy she was and is in school. We're looking forward to a great year for her.
It has been frustrating due to the turnover of staff, i.e., program coordinators(not sure what their titles are, but they are the ones who meet with parents to discuss their respective child's progress). I am not getting the same sense of commitment and interest as I had even as recently a year ago. This is not to say that the program coordinators is not skilled or qualified.
The instructors are for the most part fine, but I am questioning how long they would remain with the company. The one very bright spot is Claudia. She is consistently helpful and professional.

Sylvan has a been an excellent experience for my 12 yr old daughter. She has been going for 1-2 months over the summer and we have already seen improvement. During the school year, homework was taking a long time and she seemed to struggle with the concepts of pre-algebra. She was going through the motions and not mastering the skills. The teachers at Sylvan really got to know her weaknesses, strengths and learning style. They have reached out to her math teacher at her school in an effort to support our daughter through the school year. This team approach has given her new confidence and a fresh start. Evaluations and progress reports are thorough and informative. We enjoy the program's flexibility. We will continue the Sylvan program through the school year.
More consistent tutor for each child and communicate on the progress of child's progress through things the parents can actually see. In other words, more tangible progress.
a clean and organized learning environment, small ratio 1:3, teachers are friendly and the website to communicate with parents about their child's progress.
Not sure about other Sylvan Learning Centers, but Annette and Kelly are amazing and they truly care. And my son loves his tutor Julie (but he's had other tutors at this center and he likes them as well, Julie is just his favorite). He's learning......bottom line, he's learning. I can't ask for more than that.
The lessons and the teacher does not meet the expectations of the student
Would be much easier if there's a location closer to where we live.
I like the fact that it is very direct, convenient and flexibility of schedule.
My son loves the teacher and is very encouraged by tokens! I also notice how much faster he is at math drills.
Customized content and individualized attention. Motivating incentives that take the pressure off the student's current issues and help them focus on effort and growth.

The website needs to be more clear on how progress is being made by the students.
It's better to have the same tutor for the student, my son has 3 different tutors during the 12 tutoring hours even I made the request on the first day. But Sylvan is providing a good service and skill to my son...will refer to family and friends.
I like that Slyvan do assessment on my kid before tutoring and meeting with them quarterly in knowing what is the progress of my child; what is learning next. However, I also suggest homework system, so the kid can have more practice and build stronger good habit.
The staff are very attentive to the students. My son comes home with a positive attitude and feels good about his lessons.
Website that tracks progress is a bit confusing.
management and instructors are fabulous! the mgmt. goes beyond the call of duty to help out the children and patrons. wonderful group.
more communication between the child's teacher and with sylvan on a regular basis, without having to ask. And more report card review .
Making sure the kids don't have other homework to go over

My only hesitation would be due to cost.
The tutors are very professional. I know my son is monitor by someone in measuring his learning progree,. The park i like the most is i can able to review the report anytimr. All staffs are very welcoming.
Sylvan’s staff seems to genuinely care about the success of each child. We just started the process and already I see progress. My son spends a portion of his time on Saturdays at the learning center and it’s amazing how he comes out of his Sylvan session happy and motivated. So far, we are very pleased with what Sylvan has to offer and I am impressed with the professionalism of the staff and/or instructors.
Hard to know just from listening to my teenager's sporadic comments what could improve.
I like that your teaching methods go according to the needs. My child has a learning
Disability as well as traumatic brain injury and sylvan gives him one on one tutoring
and makes him feel comfortable and not insecure because he has a disabity,
