Our assigned education director is very responsive and makes every effort to taylor and develop a specific educational curriculum to support my child. I appreciate that it is not a "one size fits all" type of program. The reception staff and center director are also very responsive, professional and courteous.

The flexibility and the easy availabilty of signing up for tutoring. Everyone seems friendly, and willing to adapt to the client's schedule. The staff seems to be adept in adjusting to different kids' styles!

What is there not to like about sylvan, at sylvan all the staff are determined to help the kids improve in all aspect of learning. They take children from K to high school and help them with home work and also help prepare the older kids with text taking. I am a mother of a 13 year old boy and went to sylvan when i needed help to prepare my child for the texts to get into high school. they have group session 3-4 children to a teacher or if you prefer the one on one session for your child which was what i got for my 13 year old. i wanted him to have the full attention of his tutor which was a big help. sylvan is not cheap but is worth the future of any child. Kelly Page the side director. she is a wonderful person. she was a real big help to me and my child, she did make it possible for us to have a session on sunday which is not one of their working days but because my child was having the SST text on Monday. i know that there are many parent out there who will wish to put their child at sylvan but the means are not there, i will say to those parent that if you have friends who have kids of the same age as yours and are in the same class even not in the same school, you can all get your kids together at sylvan and have a group session in where the kids are learning the same thing and it will be cheaper as a group. I will highly recommend sylvan to parent and their children.

Better match student with tutor. Unfortunately because of our scheduling needs we never found a tutor that worked well with our son and that could accommodate our scheduling needs.
It is still early, and we do not yet know; however out daughter is enjoying the program and the teachers and does look forward to the classes.

My 8th grade son had a tough time in math in 7th grade. When we took him to Sylvan to study for the SSAT test, he greatly improved on his Math skills. He loves that he has a male teacher.
I haven't seen my children improve as I had anticipated.
I like that my child is in a very small group, gets a lot of attention from the teacher, the teaching is adjusted to his needs, and he like to go to his lessons because he always gest a little gift after the class. And I like that there is no homework.
My daughter just start couple weeks, I don't know yet.
