So far the experience has been great. My child is gaining confidence and happy to go to her sessions. She has not been going long enough to really measure if she is actually improving, but so far we are thrilled with the fact that she is going in and coming out happy. The scheduling has been easy and we have also been really happy with the consistency with her sessions, rather than a new person each time.
My child has been going there for over five years and cannot remember one time he left unhappy. Not only has he improved academically but also his love of learning has brown. I’m so thankful for sylvan since the pandemic put a giant pause on his learning.
Julia has had a good experience so far going to Sylvan. She has liked most of her tutors and has found them helpful in giving her strategies for the HSPT test.

My kids have had great progress and fun going to Sylvan. The tutors are great and their prizes entice my 7 year old to come back and learn more. His reading has progressed a lot since he’s started Sylvan. My daughter loves learning more math at Sylvan and feels challenged but engaged each time. Thank you!

My experience has been nothing short of wonderful and pleasant! It’s people at the front desk that run a tight ship filled with people who are communicative and organized. With that being said, my experiences with two particular tutors have been amazing! My so has really turned his outlook around and has been receptive to the ways they tutor him. His math teacher is amazing for many reasons, but most importantly because he takes the time to get tomkjwi the kids and always a positive individual. Therefore, my son highly respects him. He actually enjoys going to his sessions! What does that tell you?

The administrative staff and tutors work as a team to ensure my student’s success in learning and understanding. My inquiries are answered promptly and I even get feedback from the tutor via zoom on the student’s progress. I recommend Sylvan’s.
Isabella enjoys her sessions. She says the teachers are approachable and go at a pace that is comfortable with her. She also says that they give her appropriate attention during her sessions.
So far Sylvan is great my daughter likes coming to Sylvan and is looking forward with her first writing assignment! Thank you for motivating my daughter. I am looking forward to see her first writing assignment!
My daughter’s confidence in her math skills has increased exponentially. She has a much better understanding of how to analyze problems and knowing the steps needed to complete the math work.
Because of Sylvan my daughter became more confident in doing her math schoolwork. Math is now her favorite subject. We appreciate Sylvan so much because they are accommodating and are able to help my daughter in reviewing for her math quizzes/tests. My daughter is also very grateful for her Sylvan teachers because they are so knowledgeable and friendly. Sylvan makes it easier for her to understand her math lessons. She successfully finished her Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry class in 9th grade with a grade of A. She is currently doing Geometry Summer program and we are so grateful that Sylvan is also helping her understand the concepts. Sylvan is amazing!
My granddaughter was not excited about the prospect of going to tutoring sessions, but quickly adapted to the idea and started looking forward to sessions to assist her with homework assignments. She is now more confident!
From what I have seen so far, I gave a 7, but it is still too soon for me to comment as we have just recently joined not too long ago.

My son enjoyed tutoring
Our son attended a few sessions at Sylvan learning center to better prepare for his HSPT test. His experience there was very positive: he had great tutors that were professional yet approachable, and he felt like every session had been helpful to him.
We would recommend this tutoring center to friends and family.
Tutors helping my son read
It seems the kids are mostly left to learn on their own and there was only really one thing my son needed to focus on so if this is what they do each session we’re likely going to move on. I’m sure it’s great for some kids but not working for us.
