Justin G., our tech, was informative, thorough, and professional. He laid out recommendations and options, and then did a great job of cleaning our carpet and tile. They look brand new!
I called on Dec 15 and made an appointment for Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020,to have tile and bamboo floors cleaned (about a 2600 sq ft house). I was given an arrival window from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Thursday. The morning of Dec. 17, I spent approximately three hours moving many boxes of books, paintings, vinyl LPs, some furniture, and many other items to the back patio, I even vacuumed the entire house, even though that was not required. (Most of the furniture will not be moved into the house until January 2021). That afternoon, Dec. 17, at 3:04 pm, I called to see why no tech had arrived. I was told that the tech who was trained to clean tile and hardwood was unable to come that day - I was never given a clear reason what had happened - something just didn't happen on Zerorez's end. I asked if someone was available to at least come and clean the tile floors, and was told they had no one available for just tile floors the rest of the day. The woman I spoke with told me someone should have called me. That did not happen.
I was furious and asked to speak to the manager. (I did not want to spend 2 - 3 hours to move things back into the house, and then have to do that on another day as well.) The manager obviously did not want to speak with me (and never did), but after the rep spoke with the manager, the rep told me that they had someone who could come between 4pm and 6 pm. Justin arrived about 5:30 pm. Imagine that! There really was someone available!
Justin was great: very professional, personable, and did a great job. I will now clean the wood floors myself, which I really do not want to do. I was told that I would receive a 20% discount - but I don't know if that happened. Justin mentioned that his instructions included pricing that was lower than standard pricing. I had measured the tile floors at approximately 708 sq. ft. - but I could have been off a bit. In any case, I didn't care about the discount - I was just ready to get this over with. I gave Justin a decent cash tip. (Earlier, I did apologize to the rep I spoke with for being so angry - I told her I knew none of this was her fault, but that she was in a job where she had to listen to irate customers like me.)
I used Zerorez in Nashville when I sold my house in Nashville in 2017 after my wife died from a brain tumor in 2016. I then retired Dec. 2019 and moved back to Texas. I chose Zerorez in Dallas because of the great experience I had with Zerorez in Nashville. If I ever have to have floors cleaned again, I will give another company a chance.
The thing you can do to make this right is to communicate with your future customers. Communication is probably the most important aspect of good customer service. I know all of us make mistakes, and things happen - we live in an imperfect world. That's life.

Todd the technician was phenomenal. He did a spectacular job of cleaning the carpets in our home. They look so clean and fresh! Also, he was very professional, yet friendly. His overall demeanor and excellent work will keep us coming back to Zerorez for ALL of our carpet cleaning needs.

Great job as always. Mr. Castillo is PERFECT at his craft. This is the second time we have used Zerorez and will continue to do so semiannually for maintenance of our carpet. He got rid of a long-term stain that had been in our house since we moved in 8 years ago. I thought it was a permanent stain. When we got a new dog, the flashing treatment really made a huge difference in getting rid of the pet odors. Again, great and fabulous job. Thank you so much! Dave

Carpet is still wet 20 hours later and still smells like dog urine. The guy was extremely nice and went over it twice, but it still smells.

While the tech was really nice, it was only after he arrived onsite and assessed that the items I had requested be cleaned were all natural fibers... meaning, they could only be steam cleaned AND the price doubled on some items!!! For steam cleaning???? Very disappointing and somewhat deceptive.
I booked the appointment online & none of the above info was relayed to me during the process. To pay $1100 for a sofa, chair, area rug & 3 runner rugs to be STEAM cleaned (aka hot water) is mind-blowing! Sadly, as my furniture was already all moved out of the way & his hoses already pulled into my house, I felt I didn’t have much choice but to proceed. But note to self...
The fellow that came to clean my rug was very polite and professional. The rug, which had some really bad spots on it, looked great when he was done! The only thing was he said it would be dry in 2-3 hours and yet 8 hours later there were still a couple of damp spots. But no worries, I'm a happy customer!
