How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

We were thrilled with the carpet cleaning service the first and second time we used you; I believe you you do a great job of cleaning carpets. But this second time, I was extremely disappointed in the way we were treated from a scheduling standpoint. We're moving from one home to another and wanted to have the carpets cleaned. We scheduled the appointment and I took an entire day off since the scheduling window was right in the middle of the day. When nobody arrived, I called to find out that someone had come, not gotten an answer at the door, then left. We had told them to call my cell, not my wife's, as she was working and wasn't allowed to take calls, and I WAS RIGHT THERE IN THE HOUSE. They called her number anyway. I rescheduled for the next day, my birthday in fact, and I TOOK ANOTHER HALF DAY OFF to meet them. This time, NOBODY SHOWED AND NO CALL! I had moved two full rooms of furniture and slept on the floor the previous night because of the first no show, and WE DIDNT EVEN GET A PHONE CALL? After waiting 22 minutes on hold, and me insisting on speaking to a supervisor, they finally agreed to send someone out, he arrived at 9:30 pm, didn't leave until 11:30 pm, again on my birthday. Nice kid, good work, but he kept telling me how he'd worked 17 hours that day and was so tired... I'D HAD A FEW INCONVENIENCES OF MY OWN. By contrast, I had someone else coming the next morning to perform another service. They called 30 minutes BEFORE THEY ARRIVED, and got there 5 minutes ahead of schedule. THAT'S THE WAY to do appointments. I will tell people that ZEROREZ does great work, but that your commitment to, and handling of, appointments is substandard.

What could we do to improve?

Couple spots I pointed out and nothing was done that I saw to try again to get it out. But my carpet s older and there may have been nothing to help. Only comment was it is not crusty.

Tech was ontime polite and was careful of his et ups.
Tech did a great job and it looks wonderful.

Besides that my carpet looks as good as when it was installed 15 years, The service man Darwin Harrison was outstanding. He explained what he was going to do and followed up at the end. Great GUY.. I will ask for him everytime

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

When making the appointment we were not told that there would be a $10.00 fuel surcharge so it was a surprise when we received the confirmation email outlining the details of things that we had to do, i.e. remove breakables, which was done, etc., We thought that all of the furniture would be put on blocks so that the wood legs would not absorb the wetness from the carpet and ruin the furniture. We had to ask for those blocks and then it was initially only put under one love seat and we had to go through and ask that the blocks be put under the remainder of the furniture that needed it. We offered to move a couple of chairs in order for the tech to clean the entire study but he said "No" that he wouldn't clean that area. Why?? Because it would require moving a chair that weighs less than 50 lbs. and WE OFFERED TO MOVE IT OURSELVES as we do every week to vacuum and he said that he was only allowed to clean under the chair. The same thing occurred with a small sitting chair in our master bedroom and a vanity chair in our master bath was not moved at all. Your company was referred to us by two neighbors and they experienced the same surprises and then hearing about our challenges with your company they will not use your company again. When I called to talk to the owner/manager I was told that he doesn't take calls from people like me. What kind of "people" am I? I am/was a customer and then was told that he doesn't come in sit around waiting to talk to people like us and that he probably wouldn't return the call. I waited and on the third day I called again and one of the C/S people was kind enough to find Mr. Seth Hopkins and he was definitely less than concerned about any of our questions. I did tell him that both my husband and I were more than pleased with the service tech as he was very kind and respectful and Mr. Hopkins told us he doesn't hire people to be kind or respectful but to only clean carpets. I found this to be disturbing as we though he should and would want to know how we as customers are treated by the company's techs. After all, your C/S people and your service tech are representatives of your company and are the first people who represent your company. You only have the opportunity to make a good first impression. But guess Mr. Hopkins doesn't find that to be the case. After all, he only wants someone to clean and not put a good impression face on the company. He was rude in his responses, didn't have nor did he want to take the time to hear any of my questions all he wanted to know was did our carpet get cleaned. Yes the carpet was cleaned but unfortunately not to our complete satisfaction as I've had with Stanley Steamer which we have used for many years in many homes in many states. We will be returning to them. After seeing the Good Morning Texas show I at first thought before hearing from my neighbors that this would be the best not only for my carpets but for the environment and yes it may be good for the environment but with a couple of stains returning within one day, we don't feel that we received the best cleaning and attention our carpets and we deserved. We have called and had Stanley Steamer come and redo the den area as well as the study and after a week we are more than completely satisfied. If Mr. Hopkins had offered to return and try to remedy the problems and concerns we perhaps may have been a little more satisfied but after speaking with him and his attitude it was more than obvious our concerns were not his concerns. Also, when the automated call comes to confirm the appointment and give us the window of time for the appointment it shows on our caller ID as unknown and only list the phone number with "XXX-XXX-XXX". Had I not heard the recording we would have missed the confirmation call and probably more than likely would have had to reschedule which would not have been satisfactory to us. That issue needs to be addressed. We also did not receive a phone call at least 30 minutes or one hour prior to the tech;s arrival which would have been nice since I almost missed his arrival. So, having said all of this, we not only are unlikely to recommend your company and services to others we would tell them that they would be better served by another company of their choosing. As a side note, we DID appreciate the kindness and respect of the service tech and we feel that that is important even if Mr. Hopkins does not.

All of the stains were not removed. The service man however was very friendly. We did expect some help moving furniture but it was only the service man and my disabled husband who's now paying for moving what he did.

I have to admit I was in disbelief of the products after watching the company representative's demonstration on Good Morning Texas. I'm actually very pleased with the outcome from the products used on my carpet and tile. It looks almost new and it smells wonderful. My carpet was very heavily stained from high traffic areas and various spills. I was actually embarrassed about the condition of my carpet but the technician eased my fears with his thorough knowledge of my areas of concern. Bryson worked hard on the stains to provide the best quality of service. His extra efforts paid off for us. He was very sharp, friendly, and courteous. I had a wonderful experience with this company. I can't wait to schedule service to clean the rest of my home. Thanks so much for your service.
