Easy yo schedule and the technician was very professional

I called to get an appointment scheduled for an estimate for on August 22nd.
Technician arrived with tools in hand to start cleaning. I explained to him that I had requested an appointment to get a quote, as I did not want "sticker shock" when it came time to pay. No problem. Paul put his tools away and proceeded into the house and I showed him all the areas to be cleaned and the stains that I wished to be treated/removed. We went through the house and even took measurements of the hallway. When finished, he said he would "call in", and provide the information to the home office and that I would receive a phone call or email with the estimate. At this time I told him August 25th, in the early morning, would be a great time for him to return to clean the carpet.
On August 23rd I received an email confirming an appointment for the 25th for the cleaning and it contained all the normal instructions as did the previous email, but no estimated price. I also received a voicemail confirming the appointment. I placed a call in the late afternoon of the 23rd to get a quote. After a bit of digging, I was told that the quote was $309.
The 24th I received a call confirming my appointment for the 25th and the two hour window of 10AM to noon. Not really early morning, but OK.
On the 25th, at 10:53AM, I received a call stating the Tech was running late. Again, understandable. At 11:39AM, Paul arrived to start the job. He was very pleasant, courteous and got right to work tagging the stains. I told him about the emails and phone calls to get the quote. He stated that he forgot to email me the quote and apologized. I told it was OK, that I had received the quote from the phone call. After tagging all the stains and setting up, Paul comes to me with the final price of more that $1100. Um, no. Needless to say I was not happy. This was the entire point of making a first appointment. Why did I take time away from my job to get an estimate? The first appointment was a complete waste of my time. Even the stain at the base of the base of the stairs, that I paid extra for, is still there.

The gentleman that performed our carpet cleaning was very knowledgeable and courteous. Our twelve year old tile and carpet looked awesome when he was finished, like new! Certainly the best value for the cost!

The carpet doesn't look any cleaner than before the treatment

Carpet spots only lightened. Did not come out.

Tech was great but wish he would have gone over several places twice in the past the techs went over places a few times to make sure it's clean. Dez seemed like he went over it once. Other than that he did a great job!

Technician was late, which was ok, but then too hurried. Was at our home less than an hour. Showed pet stains and when I asked about treatment, said $60 a room or $75/gallon etc. I just wanted spots done.
When I asked him about finishing so quickly (normally your guys were there about two hours), he said he was the #2 technician in the country. Played football. Graduated from college. He even then guaranteed the rugs were clean and got the tank to show me. It was barely dirty. I could only see little specs. I spent hours moving everything so it would be easier for tech too.
Then said he'd clean our area rug in our den because he was late. While cleaning rug, he said, "Ohhh. This is wool." It now looks like it has darker areas. He didn't offer any upsells. I asked him about free tile cleaning, and he said, normally it would cost $150 to clean the area rug, so a better deal. I didn't want to push it and preferred it to be done.

I always raved about zerorez in the past. Maybe he was preoccupied. He was very concerned about getting a 9-10 rating. He knew I was not thrilled. After he left my house, he ran to his van and took off quickly. Maybe there is too tight of scheduling of appointments by Zerorez?

The carpet does look better. I just think he was too fast and was not worth the money this time.
And, no. I don't want it redone. I used a vacation day for this and cannot spare the time and energy.
Again, maybe he was preoccupied. But, not at all like past experiences with Zerorez.
