My old water softener continued to regenerate, and wasn't working I also had an Ironater to help take the iron out of my well water. Wasting a lot of water, Culligan came out and recommended a new unit, although quite expensive, I needed it, they came out and took out the old water softener and Iron free units and installed a new all in one softener and Iron free unit in a timely manner.
