This was a rough start. The person that originally showed up and "cleaned" the carpets did not want to hear about how our carpet was laid. Therefore, it was get in the bedroom, follow thru the hall into the living area--all one direction. He didn't want to spend any time in the hall--said the wand was too long. After he finished and left, I took a broom and tried to pull the pile up. After it was dry the next morning, we vacuumed many times over, it was matted so bad that we had little success in pulling the pile up. When asked for a rating, I simply couldn't do one..so I called ZeroRez back again and told them how unhappy we were. Our carpets were so matted it felt terrible to walk on. ZeroRez made it right! They scheduled another person to come back a couple of weeks later. Nathan was fantastic. I showed him what the carpets looked like, he listened. The first person was here for about for less than one hour. Nathan was here cleaning carpets that had been "cleaned" just a couple of weeks before. He took the time, asked questions and went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. He was here for nearly 2 hours. ZeroRez will get our business from now on. First of all they set up the appointment quickly. This was the second time we used Zerorez. This time I had them clean the hardwood in the kitchen and hall AND the naugahyde sectional in the family room as well as the 30 year old carpets. We have a rescue dog that lived its first year in a cage and never completely learned that outside is the best place to potty. The sectional couch has seen a lot of teenagers and dogs in its time. Tom arrived at 8am on Saturday morning and worked for several hours. The carpet had some scary stains and now looks CLEAN! I'm not afraid to sit and knit on the old naugahyde sectional any more and the color is so much brighter. I thought the hardwood was pretty clean as it had been mopped the day before. But the water residue in the cleaning machine was shockingly dark brown with dirt lifted from the wood crevices. There was no chemical cleaning odor and the carpets were dry very quickly. Thank you, Zerorez and Tom for your cleaning process and getting it done on Saturday morning.
