I have been a long-time customer of Terminix in Pennsylvania and have had a very good experience. Expensive, but great service. Our technician, Pat, is amazing.
However, I recently bought a second home in North Carolina and due to my experience in PA I opted to use Terminix in North Carolina. So far the service provided by the NC team has been great. Expensive, but great.
The problem is that it has been extremely frustrating and difficult to get things set up so I can manage my account online. After many hours on the phone talking to four different Terminix representatives it became apparent that the Terminix North Carolina operations do not use the same online systems as they do in Pennsylvania.
This lack of continuity between Terminix's various service areas, and apparent lack of understanding on the part of the Terminix staff that there is a lack of continuity, really makes it difficult for the homeowner and does not put Terminix in the best light.

Andrew is the reason I stay with Terminix. He is professional, courteous and patient.
Every technician who has come to my house for Terminix is extremely polite and considerate. They call ahead, confirm arrival, double check my needs, and perform their job. If I need in-house service, they come prepared. If I ask them to do only outside, they come and do their work without interruption and leave. It is a pleasure dealing with your service personnel.

I have used Terminix for years to protect my home from termites and outside pests such as rats. My most recent use was to get rid of the ants that had come into my kitchen. I had briefly got rid of them for a day or two with the ant killer poison sold in grocery and other stores, but they came back. Terminix had a one-visit plan with at 30 day warranty and another plan that cost nearly $70 per month in addition to the initial $269 startup fee, which was about the same as the fee for the one-day treatment. I chose the one day plan, having had the comprehensive plan for several year before cancelling it. The technician was prompt in arriving and explained clearly what he would do. He did a very thorough job, inside and outside. That was on a Thursday. He explained that I might see an occasional lost ant for up to four days. I am writing this on the following Saturday, and for the past day and a half, I have seen no ants. So far, so good. I doubt that I will see others.
We never have to worry about bugs in this house. The Terminix people take care of it all. I never have to remind them to come by. They handle the visits and the bugs are gone! Go no where else for this kind of service!

Our technician, Tyler Rowe, is exceptional. He does a great job with our quarterly treatment service. He also calls or texts us prior to our service date to ensure that he has all the information needed to provide the level of service we require. We are pleased with his work and enjoy having him as our technician.
