The Trek Store in Little Rock Ar., has been wonderful! The Trek SLR7 Domane+ has been a savior for my cycling, after my hip surgery, times two on the same hip (due to dogs attacking me, and flipping over one), hills are a pleasure, I don't have to "paperboy" up them any longer. The battery extender has taken away the "battery life anxiety", and I can focus on the ride. I placed 40 mm Pirelli's and this really helps for comfort of the "chip and seal" roads here in Arkansas....REALLY nice on fresh asphalt roads too! The TQ E-Bike app is very easy to use and I have my settings at where I really like. A couple of minor "bad" things. (1.) Bar tape....so thin and so cheap...especially for an expensive bike (FB page of Trek Domane+ users ALL have this issue, I had to change mine) (2.)The TQ E-Bike app is NOT so easy,(I am sure I am missing something very simple) I have issues with it not letting me log in or it will not recognize me, I have to go to the store for the guys to log in, kinda frustrating. (3.) I wish there were an option when ordering the bike (there might have been, but the guys did not ask me when we ordered), I have the Praxis 50/34T....I need the larger chain ring...I find myself always in the big ring, even on climbs, even in eco-mode. So, later this fall, after the season, I will talk to the shop about sizing up. I have read horror stories about noise issues with the motor, some easy fixes, some not so easy, so far...I have been blessed and having a great time back out on the road!
