The bike is great. I ordered a taller and adjustable stem. It did not come with the vertical bolt that goes down into the fork tube. It's a hardware store item so no real issues but disappointing. Old bolt had wrong type head.

I test rode the Verve 4+ and Electra Vale. I ended up buying the Vale and would have never considered it until Jacob had pointed it out to me. I have delayed delivery of the bike until next week (for my convenience) but am looking forward to great rides on it!!

The Bicycle Cellar of Farmington Valley is probably the best bike shop in Connecticut. They are an absolute pleasure to work with.
However, Trekbikes.com should give online customers the option to have their new bikes shipped to their home for assembly. Some customers, including myself, are capable and would enjoy opening the box and building their new Trek.
