Having worked in a bike shop for years, one of my least favorite requests was for "touch up paint." Usually it wasn't available, and if it was, the paint rarely was viable for use or worse, was a terrible product to use. No one was happy. I had this in mind when I ordered some touch up paint for a Trek 1120 I bought as a shop demo. The paint was easily identified on the TREK website by year, model, and color. It was shipped to my LBS for $13 in less than a week. I picked it up and not only was the paint stored well, it was in an easy to use container with an appropriate brush...and was a perfect match. Completely exceeded my highest expectations.

TREK has a lot of bicycle options to fit multiple budget ranges. TREK uses good components on lower priced bicycles and they stand behind their product's, no matter the price range. TREK has a large network of dealers nationwide which makes it easy to find a local shop when traveling should a breakdown occur. My local TREK dealer was very patient with me when trying to decide what new TREK model I should purchase. I probably test rode over 15 different bikes and thier expert advice helped me in making my final decisions. What other company has a CEO that actually reads and responds directly to customer emails. TREK is truly the best bicycle builder out there thier warrenty is second to none on thier bikes and accessories.

I love my Emonda SLR7, Project One! It's my first Trek bike, and although I may just love it because I finally upgraded to electronic shifting, disc brakes, and a super fancy paint job, I find that it is super responsive, light, and comfortable as well. I wish I had a bike like this back when I was racing!
