Group fitness classes.
Very pleased with facility services, classes and instructors
The Woodruff Family YMCA is a wonderful place to exercise, it’s safe, it’s clean, and it’s welcoming. The family atmosphere is second to none.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Swim instructors are good with children- keeping them motivated and engaged, ensuring they learn proper technique. Facility is clean and modern, plenty of parking. Family changing rooms are helpful. Open swim hours are generous, and we appreciate that the pool water temp is always warm! Cold water temp was a barrier to my kiddo getting in the pool for lessons at other locations. Always a good, family feeling!
The pools and all the wonderful classes that are offered and the friendly staff.
It would be so much better if it had handicap access to the 2nd floor, basement and gym. So many stairs
The water classes are the best! The instructors are all fantastic!!!

Warm & friendly experience always
I am greeted when I enter the facility in a very polite and positive way. Members and staff are very friendly. Good selection of classes. One area of improvement could be to offer drop in basketball in the basketball court for young adult members.
1) Water exercise classes - include deep water classes that are free as part of the overall YMCA membership. 2) stop with manual sign up sheets; Fairfield is the only CCYMCA that uses them, and they are a chore for members to complete.

Regular Coaching to the staff, be on the look out for any situation or behavior that are not appropriate and if possible a consultation with the parents to make sure everything is alright at home..
Better fitness programs and times

Beautiful facility, clean and modern; classes are limited in size with reservations so there is sufficient room to work out; teachers are friendly, welcoming and upbeat. A lovely experience.
Classes offered and pickleball court
Friendly, welcoming staff, facility is clean, the offerings meet my needs, and the multi-generational openness. Once you join, and attend, you are embraced into the YZmCA family. People care about each other and support each other.
Friendly and helpful people everywhere. Two family members signed up today and it was very smooth.
