I really appreciated the technicians making the time to solve my issues right there without making me wait or requiring me to leave the bike. I had no idea it was going to be so quick, especially with the di2 transmitter installation. What I didn't like was the the amount I was charged. For 15 minutes of work, the labor charge for installing di2 transmitter (~15 seconds) and tightening of the handlebar (~10 min), was $50. In all fairness, they upgraded the di2 firmware too (~5 min), but I could have done that myself easily too given the transmitter was already installed. $50 was worth the quick service for me, but when you look at the charge in isolation of the service speed, it is quite high. Regardless, I will always recommend Trek service to friends and family but inform them they might pay higher than other places.
This place is great. Can’t recommend it enough. I brought two bikes in for tuneups, which was apparently apparently overkill given the conditions of the bikes. Rather than charge us for services we didn’t need, they inspected and cleaned the bikes, adjusted the brakes, and filled the tires...all for free. They’re great and I trust them completely.
