Well this is not about what I like, it’s what I don’t like.
This past Saturday, 8/10/24, the MLS was down for several hours mid/late afternoon until mid evening. I haven’t seen any notifications or explanations from anyone I pay dues to/for related to what happened.
Also would like to see NAR dues optional, don’t see what value they bring to me, especially when everyone I pay dues to is showing us agents how to bring value to OUR customers to justify my paycheck!!!
Truly advocates for our members and our industry.
good service and friendly people
The officers of our association always keep us prepared for upcoming changes. They offer a number of classes, sessions, Q and A to make sure we have adequate knowledge and resources to stay informed. I just wish they would get together with Sentrilock to offer a class since it has changed so much.
You sent me a survey so you have the correct email but never sent me my change password verification. Still waiting
keep up the good work
Support, listening to us, changing with the times, etc.
Easy navigation with the site regarding the new Aug 17 changes.
Always very helpful and getting answers promptly.
super folks to wokwith
Overall I am happy with Mainstreet. What concerns me is the recent NAR lawsuit and how it got to the point that a lawsuit was filed and NAR lost.
As Realtors we are supposed to operate ethically and it appears that some individuals at the NAR at high positions did not do so.
Everyone (that I’ve had the pleasure of engaging with) is genuinely caring and extremely knowledgeable. MainStreet feels like home, like part of a family. A family that wants the best for you and that not only wants to see you succeed but will also do whatever they can to make sure you actually succeed.
Everyone's willingness to help. The education that is offered and how Mainstreet is so proactive in addressing all the issues that can affect their members. I have been active at Mainstreet for years and I am always so impressed with the people and their willingness to serve.
Easy site to navigate, great people!
Vast amount of training
Easy access to homes.
Service. Convince of location.
The staff are fabulous and work to make the association
Services and training offered by the association. I like having a resource regarding local real estate matters.
They are super professional and always answering the phone with a live person
Great
The association has become by go to for all resources, education, and all things real estate
Mainstreet has the best Forms & Education!! They are a wealth of resources from classes, tutorials, events, news, trade missions, their staff and their members.
We need an in-person RENE class. NOT LYNN MADISON as the educator. Though she has a wealth of knowledge she's very redundant and all her classes teach the same content no matter what the name of the class is. Lynn Madison spends too much time answering questions rather than teaching the class which makes it hard to gather information in a group setting. I have been searching for a RENE ACCREDITATION CLASS, I have not been able to find one in my area.
Always able to answer questions and advise. Appreciate all the classes and CE.
The education department is excellent. So is the services that Mainstreet provides.
very helpful and knowledgeable staff.
I appreciate that Main Street and it's Employees are on top of the latest changes in our Industry and that they share, communicate and provide education in as quick a mannor as they can.
They are weeks and months ahead of ofther Associations when it comes to alerting us to change!!! Especially this year when changes are coming hot and heavy and often!!!! Well done Main Street and its Staff.
Reduce costs

I like the association but I'm very disappointed that the NAR's president sold the buyer's agents under the bus with the settlement. If it weren't for the buyer's agents a lot of these properties wouldn't sell. Everyone knows that the buyer's barely have enough to get a down-payment let along pay closing cost. Most of them ask for a closing cost credit to help defray that cost. He should have taken a vote on that from the members before he agreed to do that. If a seller does not want to use the help of a realtor that's fine.
