I’m writing to express my frustration with my carpet cleaning appointment with ZeroRez today.
My scheduled arrival window was 4:00 PM–7:00 PM, so I made sure I was home by 3:30 PM and available for the appointment.
At 4:29 PM, I received a message saying the technician was finishing up with the customer before me. Then, at 6:06 PM, I received a call saying he went to Meridian, Idaho, even though the address I provided for my appointment was in Nampa, Idaho.
The technician ultimately arrived at around 7:00 PM, right at the end of my scheduled window. Because of the delays, I spent the entire afternoon waiting at home without knowing when the technician would actually arrive.
When the technician (Ben) arrived, I was also disappointed by his demeanor. He did not seem particularly apologetic about the delay and seemed less than thrilled to be there.
I showed him the small area of carpet where my daughter's cat had an accident. He explained that there were different treatment options available, but that one takes a long time. I understood that the treatments would be an additional cost, but financially I could only afford the $115 for one room.
After I explained that was all I could afford, his attitude seemed to change and he appeared very unenthusiastic. I then asked how long the carpet cleaning itself would take, especially since it was already almost 7:30 PM. His response was that it would take him longer to set up and take down his equipment than it would to actually clean the carpet.
That comment made me feel like I was an inconvenience for having scheduled the service, particularly after I had already spent the entire afternoon waiting for him to arrive. I understand that it was late in the day, but I did not choose the appointment time or cause the scheduling delays. I was simply trying to get the service I had scheduled.
Overall, the combination of the significant delay, the confusion about the location, the lack of apology when he arrived, and the attitude I experienced once I explained what I could financially afford left me feeling very uncomfortable about the entire appointment.

The guy who came could not have been nicer! The carpets were cleaned really well. I wish the rug could have been a bit better. I forgot to specify what i was looking for for the rug but I did on the carpet

Technician was very helpful. The service was great and the products cleaned all of my furniture stains.
So far, so good. Jacob did a really good job on our carpets, and he’s very personable. We’ll see him again this Saturday when he does our hardwood floors.
Carpets look great after cleaning. Service technician, Keegan, was very professional, well-spoken, informative and mindful of his equipment/ my home as he serviced the carpets.
The cleaning expert had a lot of anlage about how to clean and how to remove the spots.
And did a fantastic job.
I would hire her again to clean my couches and carpet. She was amazingly. 😊

The communication was great, the service was great! He even mopped up the floor he didn't clean before he left. He was also honest and didn't try to push anything we didn't need. And he double checked our order and saw that I said our area rug was a natural fiber (which it wasn't) and lowered the price for the correct fiber. We will definitely have Zerorez back next year
