Stylist did not know I w how to scan my coupon that I presented on my phone and asked to use up front before getting my haircut. I HAD a free MVP haircut coupon and instead only received a $5.00 discount.

This was my first ever visit to Sports Clips so I am not sure if this in general with the franchise or just the new location or individual staff itself.
I decided to give it a try after receiving a recommendation from my daughter’s daycare, along with a coupon for a complimentary MVP service. Since it was my first time, I wasn’t very familiar with what the MVP service included.
Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. As soon as the provider learned that I was using a coupon, the level of engagement seemed to drop. I was told it was up to me whether I wanted just a haircut or the full MVP service, but there was little effort made to explain or recommend the service options. I mentioned that I would like everything except the shampoo, yet there was no encouragement or enthusiasm in response. It felt as though there was a lack of interest in delivering the full experience because a promotion coupon was being used.
In the end, I received only a basic haircut and left feeling underwhelmed. I believe the business would benefit from adopting a stronger customer-first mindset, especially when honoring promotions that they themselves offer. Promotional visits should be treated as opportunities to create a positive first impression and build long-term customer relationships.
I would rather pay the price and enjoy a good experience rather then using a promotion which requires such hard pushes and hand holding leaving a dull impression at the end.
Diana was really gentle and gave me a really good cut and nice wash/massage.

You guys are fantastic, and Rachel did a perfect job like always. Please give her a huge raise, but don't promote her to the point we can't schedule a haircut with her anymore. My little boy would be sad.

As always, Kiana is the highest level in professionalism and customer service! The manager and other staff are also top notch - Always remember my name and are quick to greet and assist. We recently moved to the far side of Houston, but continue to drive 30+ miles each way to patronize this location twice a month.
She did a great job and the environment is very nice and professional.
I go to sports clips in baton rouge wherr I live and the price is way cheaper. With the same tip I left I usually pay $35. With the tip included at this location I t was $50. Not sure why the price is different. I will NOT visit this location again
Front door wide open. Zero customers inside. Stylist sitting in front row of customer chairs. Wasn’t really greeted. Signed my son in. Standing in aisle as I’m trying to figure out if stylist is going to move. She more or less GROWLS that “once your name pops up on the screen, you’ll be seen”. 3 seconds later that happens, and the same sitting stylist growls again “first chair on the left”.
That’s how the visit STARTED. I’ve never been tempted to simply walk out of a Sport Clips before, but I came incredibly close yesterday.
There’s more, but it’s all of the same theme. Same gruff, unprofessional stylist.
The stylist doesn't do anything to keep hair off face. She probably used the blow dryer one time to get hair off my neck. Had hair all over my face the entire session
Every location is consistent. Great service while in town on business.
