Andrew Chaffe, the Richfield store service manager is phenomenal. Multiple times over this past year we needed help, he listened to our needs, diagnoses the problem, and suggested options for meeting our needs. He has always gone above and beyond to implement our repair or upgrade. This time, we needed to have the handlebars raised on a trek 4.1. A challenge given that it has a non-adjustable stem. He found several options and immediately installed the new stem. That alone was excellent. He then went above and beyond to review the safety impact of the change in rider position, and he insisted on a test ride and fine-tuned the handlebar rotation for a perfect fit. Further, he advised on options for some front shifter changes needed to provide easier shifting due to arthritis in the thumb. I casually mentioned a saddle issue I was having and he took a quick look and suggested some specific adjustments. He grabbed an Allen wrench and made the adjustments. All the changes are perfect. Not only are his technical skills superb but his quiet demeanor and effective communication skills are excellent. He is a key reason why we go to Freewheel and recommend Freewheel to many others. Thank you, Andrew, and the whole team at the Richfield store.

I frequently need to go to your various locations for parts (in the process of upgrading/restoring two old bikes), and everyone I've talked to has been great, but I'd especially like to call out the fine gent helping me at your Richfield location- I've unfortunately forgotten his name, but I can't imagine there are too many folks there that drive brown classic Volkswagen Rabbits. Had a great conversation with him while he was able to get me the parts that I needed, as well as a special tool that took a little while to dig up. He made what can frequently be a pain into something easy and quick, while being friendly and knowledgeable to boot. Guys like him are why I would drive from North Minneapolis to visit your store rather than purchasing online. Top marks all around.
