Friendly and compassionate!
The doctor, anesthesiologist and nurses were ALL outstanding, friendly, caring, very knowledgeable and informative. I like that they were all extremely attentive and accommodating. It felt like I was the only patient even when things were very busy! I volunteer at BSW The Heart Hospital Plano, 3 days a week so I have an excellent comparison to go by. I have also been a patient at other medical services who don’t come close to your caring, professional employees. I felt grateful for being at your facility. It really makes a difference in the patient experience.

Checking in for surgery was amazing simple and everyone was friendly! The pre-op nurses are absolutely out of this world! If you go in, you think you might be nervous they definitely make you feel comfortable and ready to head off to surgery!!

BSW Frisco is an awesome medical facility. EVERYONE is friendly and professional. You can expect to be treated with courtesy and professionalism, and my doctors and staff on my medical visits have always been AWESOME! Be assured, I have always been greeted with smiles and treated with the utmost care.

Nurses were great. Very attentive and helpful. From Christina atpre-op to Gretchen in postop. Plus 2 other nurses in pre-op helped me also.

My negative review is based on the postpartum department. It was my second time delivering at this hospital and my experience with postpartum staff was terrible this time. The only nurse that was helpful in postpartum was Leslie! My bad experience started on 12/15 around 6am when I called for help to use the restroom. Sarah (tall/ brown hair/white) came into my room and proceeded to rudely explain to me that I need to start getting up by myself and prove I am able to take care of my baby when I get home. It had not even been 24 hours since I delivered my baby and she pretty much dismissed my needs and walked out of the room. Before she walked out she said ya you need to be able to get up by yourself and use the bathroom or ask your husband for help. Then she said “so you got this right” and then she walked out of the room without even lending me a hand to get up from the bed. Someone with such a horrible attitude treating a mother who is freshly postpartum should not be working at any hospital. I was super emotional after she left and shocked someone would treat a patient this way. If she had not been so rude I would have explained to her that the only time my nurse (Priscilla) helped me was the first urine output. I did not want to call her every time to use the bathroom since she is pregnant so my husband helped me the entire time. He was asleep when I had called for help to use the restroom. I’m not sure if it was because I was a second time mom, but the nurses barely checked on me this time around. I hope this department gets better in the future, but for now I would not recommend this hospital due to the after care I received this time around. I know I am not the only one since I was talking to a friend who delivered here a few weeks ago & had a negative experience with postpartum too.
I do want to shoutout Rachel in labor and delivery who was just the sweetest & cares about her patients. And Leslie from nursery was the absolute best! You can tell she loves her job & patients!
