Had a great new bike day experience this weekend
- Pete’s had one of the last of the bikes I wanted in stock in the province. (Domane AL5)
- I bought it online after midnight Friday to secure the purchase, as I was busy Sat am
- they emailed me when the bike was ready Sat afternoon
- they helped me choose a new style of pedal SPD/flats and installed them, including pins
- offered to give me some credit when I asked about swapping wheels or tires before using the stock ones
- when I bought bigger tires they installed them and also swapped out the tubes for bigger ones
I appreciate the zero cost tube swap and no labour charge on the tire purchase
- I was already a Pete’s customer, but I will be recommending them for new bike shopping and telling my happy purchase story
Great sales reps. I've bought two MTBs from Pete's and every time I do, I am grateful for the help and knowledge demonstrated by the guys that work there. The bike models are always in stock and in my size. Helped get my partner their first gravel bike too. Thanks for all the help!

Came in with a brake issue on my relatively new bike. Was immediately assisted with understanding and expertise. Entire brake system replaced as part of the warranty program within 24 hours. Excellent service!

Everyone is super friendly, very knowledgeable. The staff are always willing to spend a decent amount of time with you to help find what you need, even if that's trying a few different bikes out. There's no sales pressure, which make inclined to spend more because I'm getting a good vibe from the store and want to support the business.
The work was done on time, was well explained, and even was less expensive than what I thought it would be.
I found the bike was poorly assembled, the cable for the front disc brake was twisted, we needed to remove the brake lever and install it properly.
Nobody asked about how to setup the suspension for the rider.
I understand it an entry level bike ( I bought it for my daughter) but it will be nice if someone will take the time and ask to setup them properly.
I will go over them and check that everything is assembled correctly before she ride them.
I want give a good feedback to the mechanic of the store, after me noticed the above, I asked him to assist with setting up the suspension and fix the brake cable, he was very professional, kind and willing to assist.

Adam to the rescue! My son broke his break lever 2 weeks prior to representing Canada at the Pan Am mountain bike Championships in Utah. This specific part was not available in BC so I reached out to your shop. Adam went above and beyond to help us, and my kid is ready to race! Thankuuuuuu Adam!!!!

I really appreciated Marshall taking the time to walk me through different bike options, tailor info to my interests and knowledge, and make me feel confident about getting back on a bike. I appreciated the full service (helping with helmet, bell, light), that I wasn’t unsold (and that the bike was on sale!), and that I now feel part of a community. I also had a fab interaction with a person when I came to pick up my bike, fun and playful and just what I needed before launching myself onto the road!!
