I dropped in without an appointment for help with tires that were not seated properly. The mechanic promptly solved the problem and I was not charged for labour. The mechanic advised new rotors. I was given advice re: options and a recommendation based on my needs. No attempt to upsell to performance rotors for my commuter bike. Great price for the rotors!

An honestly most of my family wouldn't go to Sweet Pete's because we'd be looking for $800 - $1200 bikes

I took in a bike that was close to the end of its life, but wanted an assessment to see if it was salvageable. The staff were honest, helpful, and entirely forthcoming with the prognosis. I was not charged for the assessment at all, and at their recommendations, ended up with a new bike of the same type on the same day I went to pick up the first!
The staff checking me out were friendly and personable, thorough with information without being condescending, and also knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning here.
The whole experience was really smooth and so was my ride afterwards.
I shifted to a different neighborhood and got a tune-up last year at a shop nearby and I can confidently say that this experience and quality of work was far superior.
