This is my go to shop. Adam and Brent have always treated me like gold and I've always recommended friends to go there.
However, I recently had a spoke fixed on a rear wheel and the wheel is fine and true but the spoke that came loose is still in the rim and rattles around when rolling. It's quite loud and annoying. I believe one of the newer or part time mechanics fixed it. It would be great if I can bring the bike back asap to have the loose spoke removed.
FYI, this doesn't change my high opinion of the shop.

I've been supporting smaller independent bike shops for a while. Sweet Pete's has by far been my favorite - conservative shipping/order fulfillment estimates, and speedy shipping times.

I called to ask what had happened to the helmet I ordered. The gentleman immediately checked while I was on the phone, was unbelievably honest about what had happened and promised to take care of it which he did! It does not get better than that! Amazing and thank you!

It turned out my order wasn’t in stock, and of course it would have been helpful to know that closer to when I placed the order. Otherwise the experience was really great - I asked for alternatives and John provided some that I’m sure will work great.

I also like to support brick and mortar shops whenever I can, I don’t really care what part of Canada they’re in.
I always look local first but rarely is what I want in stock.

Hey sorry, I support local business but your time estimate was half as long as reality. I ended up ordering the parts on Amazon and got everything I needed in 3 days, not a month. North York to high park, not rocket science. Just manage my expectations better!
The tech replaced my tire and didn’t call me and ask what kind of tire I’d like to buy so I had to go with the $60 one he picked out for me. I would have liked the opportunity to discuss all my options. I bought my bike at your shop and have frequented it before but I won’t be back.

First of all, I liked the fact that you had the bike that I wanted since most of the bike shops are running out of stock. Then, you prepped my order timely and have to give special thanks for Ian for his great communication and support.
Service
The whole process went great, however purolator told me they delivered my bag, and they did not, so now I have to go through a whole review process with them to find out what happened.
local store, good online selection, good ui/uix for online ordering (find what I want fast and buy it). Also, the selection is good but not great. I was willing to pay more to buy from a local shop, but ended up buying some things from another online retailer because they had more of the items I was looking for.
