Honesty. My bike was a mess and unfixable, they told me so and recommended a competitor who might have the parts. There was no charge for the analysis. I appreciated that.

I understand that things are different during the pandemic and you are way busier because of it. But it has been a year and response times have not yet improved. There is only one person checking the service email address and they can take an entire day to respond and it is almost impossible to get through on the phone and actually speak to someone. Recently, I got a call from the mechanic while they were working on my bike tune-up. I was unable to take the call and the mechanic left a voicemail and said to email service to confirm if he could proceed with replacing a part. Within 1.5 hours, I emailed service saying he could proceed and I assumed this would be processed ASAP, given that my tune up was scheduled weeks ago and supposed be be complete that day (that is what the Sweet Pete's employee told me when I dropped off my bike the previous morning). Pre-pandemic, I could have easily called and got through to the mechanic. But I followed the instructions of emailing. I was quite disappointed that 8 hours after I sent the email Emma responded saying that she would pass on the info to the mechanic. I'm not blaming any individual, it just seems that you must be chronically short-staffed if it so hard to communicate with you. I have been a loyal customer of Sweet Pete's for years, but now I'm only continuing to go there because it is the most convenient.
Quick efficient service.
I ordered some stuff from Jensen in the US the same day and their stuff arrived two days earlier. You'll continue to get my business as I do like to support local but if you were to speed up shipping it'd get me on my bike quicker and that'd get you a 10!!!

Price, disponiibility and fast shipping
Unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to interact with anyone because the show room was closed because of Covid. But my bike was ready pretty fast and even when I sent a question by email, they got back to me within an hour which was cool.

Simply said the customer service at Sweet Pete’s is second to none. Brent was amazing in taking my special order for 6 Abus locks all using the same key delivered directly from Germany. I had tried filling this order with many bike shops across Canada without success. I I then read about Sweet Pete’s online and decided to give them a try and hit gold. I would highly recommend this shop to all...keep up the great work in these challenging times... and thanks again Brent, the locks are perfect we could not be more happy.

I have only purchased a helmet, but the order was placed, and prepared for shipping on a Sunday! Delivery scheduled for the following Wednesday. All costs were presented clearly, with a clean transaction. When I look to update my families bikes in the future I will consider Sweet Pete’s for sure!
