Nothing really. I had a good experience but it was a simple process of ordering and picking up my item. It went well. Will I run around telling my friends about the experience? No but if they ask about a reliable experience, I'll say it was good.
The selection of products and promptness of service.
Most of the products are not exclusive to Sweet Pete's, and are available for the same price points elsewhere (or even a little cheaper using online platforms like Amazon), so for me service is always going to make the difference. I value clear communication, which involves listening to customers. For me, this is the basis of trust, and why I give my custom to any business. Generally I find Sweet Pete's consistently good in this way. Not necessarily better than one or two other bike shops, but better than most in the city. For example, during the pandemic Sweet Pete's has responded promptly to each email of many, which is greatly appreciated, especially when I know that the volume is so high. My bike was stolen this year, forcing me out of desperation to survey potentially available inventory throughout the city, beyond relying only on my usual go-to of Sweet Pete's. That gave me a good overview of how TO bike shops rank in terms of communication. At the bottom end, one major bike shop with several stores simply didn't respond to multiple email requests for information. That shop lost a potential sales order, an order that, happily, ended up getting placed at Sweet Pete's, where I will also be getting the new bike serviced over years of ownership, and buying accessories as needed. So in my case, there's a significant dollar figure directly linked to good communication.

Quick delivery. Had just the product(s) I needed. Will be buying more stuff from Sweet Pete's in the (near) future. Saved me money in the long run, ie. gas, motel, grub, etc. Glad to help keep businesses afloat.

Website was am difficult to use , had to call in amd talk with a sale persons to be told only way to order was on the website.
