I bought a Trek Soho that I loved from Scheller's 17 years ago and rode it to and from work every day over the last 17 years, when its frame recently broke. Andy and Scheller's helped me track down my receipt and worked with Trek to discover that it was still under warranty. Unfortunately, Trek no longer makes the Soho, so they replaced it with a brand new Trek FX3, completely free of charge. What service! What honor! I can't recommend Scheller's and Trek enough.

I purchased a Trek Verve 2 several years ago. When it was purchased I was told the first repair of a flat tire was free. I finally had a flat tire and took it to the shop for repair. They asked for a coupon. I was never given a coupon, nor was I ever told I would need one for the repair of a flat tire. So they refused the repair. I purchased an inner tube and had to perform the repair myself.
My name is in the system for the two bikes purchased and I have to assume any other parts or services done. Why couldn’t the information for any previous flat tire repair be seen?

I went in to Scheller’s planning to test ride an in stock Trek Domane AL4 to confirm fit, with the plan of buying either an AL5 or SL5 (a big upgrade from my 20-year-old FX2 hybrid). I confirmed by text the right size was in stock. Staff made it easy to get on the road for a test, less than 10 minutes after I walked in. After riding, and confirming fit, we discussed my riding experience and goals. Staff helped me evaluate pros and cons; I ended up taking the AL4 home, a gorgeous bike! So happy to have saved $300-900 by being educated and ending up with a great product at a price and component mix that will serve me well! Can’t wait to stack the miles on my new ride!
Good choice of supplies. Excellent repair service
I've always had good experiences, staff is nice enough. I would encourage more staff capable of fixing minor bicycle issues in real time. Essentially, with limited bike repair places, you are a life hub and jiffy lube for bikes. It would be nice to see the repairs that can be, done in real time.
