Helen’s is very civically minded and very generous in supporting local youth groups and cycling teams.

All the interactions I’ve had with staff at the store have been very positive. It takes me a while to decide on what bike works for me (this was my second purchase there) but I don’t feel any pressure. I like Trek bikes, and they tie in with the Trek Travel tours we take. I get my bikes tuned up there, too.

My experience was with a bike rental for an out- of-town visit to Santa Monica. Got to know the Helen’s staff on a shop ride and these guys are great - Adam, Mike, Eric, and Ian.
The rental process was smooth, the bike was solid and it was an awesome cycling weekend.
Ian was great. Very helpful, knowledgeable, calm, patient with us. He helped me buy a great e-bike and my girlfriend is delighted about it.

Great customer service! I rented a bike while visiting Santa Monica for Sprong Break. The bike was high-end and in impeccable shape. The shop gave me great ride recommendations tailored to my needs. The location is excellent off bike paths and some really great coffee shops nearby! Highly recommend stopping by Helen’s is you are cyclist and in the area!
