Highlands Ranch store has been good -- I've bought a Trek Domane there and all is good. I've bought many accessories and have been satisfied with the service.
However, I ordered a Trek Townie Go 5i on 12/12/20 and was given a May 22nd arrival date -- ready for my wife by May 25, 2021. That date passed, I never got a courtesy call that the date was moved and I called the store, spoke to a salesperson who said the date wa now mid-June, so I should keep calling and checking. I did. In early June, another salesperson stated the date was moved to late June. On 6/17th, I called again and the salesperson stated the delivery date for my bike was now July 19th but may move into Auguest.
Disgusted, I ranted on how I ordered this as my wife's Christmas present on 12/12/20 and now I'm hearing about an August delivery. Jonathan (Parker) then informed me that I can go find another identical 5i and Elevation would refund my $200 deposit.
I didn't know this was an option until Jonathan discussed it with me. Don (my original sales guy) never mentioned that. All of my calls (at least 3 specifically regarding my bike and the delay issue, ended the same way -- just wait and we're sorry the dates are being moved.
Only 1 person (Jonathan) offered for me to go find another identical 5i in other stores -- which I didn't realize wa an option for me.
At 9:30 PM I looked on Trekbike.com and found 1 51 60 miles north in Schells in Johnstown. I called the store and the rep said they'd have someone confirm this news in the morning. They did and "Chase" said they had on there. I went up, picked it up and drove home that day -- and they honored my original price of $2,599 vs the higher rate of $2,799.
Why didn't any Elevation employee tell me I had the choice to go find the bike in another dealer on Trekbike.com and Elevation would refund my $200 deposit? I may have found the bike months earlier versus waiting and waiting!!
I love Elevation -- I bought my Trek Domane from there all all the accessories. I use Elevation exclusively for service and love the overall service.
Why I wasn't given the option to find the bike elsewhere disturbs me. It questions my loyalty to Elevation but also questions the quality of the Elevation employee and their training? Why didn't EVERY employee I met during my 6-month search and communication with each of them tell me I could find an option on my own, which they would honor.
Was is their zeal to make a sale? Was it their incompetence doing their job? What it the lack of training from their managers/executive? I don't know -- but do know that I bought the bike and my wife is happy, but wonder why ALL Elevation employees don't offer this option to others so they can get their bike SOMEWHERE, all the client would be happy.

My most recent service appointment was straightforward, and everything went as expected. I like having the ability to email the shop to get on the service calendar. I also just wanted to mention that I really like the new automatic sliding door at the main entrance. I typically have two small children with me, and not having to worry about the awkward entrance caused by a bike in one hand, car seat in the other hand, and toddler running around is much appreciated.
Christine was awesome with product knowledge. They had the bike in stock I was looking for and she got it prepped right away. Totally satisfied.

My only knock is that my bike was ordered in January with a delivery date anticipated mid May. I called early May and was informed it would be mid June for delivery. This is no fault of elevation, but I would like like a proactive call just to let me know. Other than that their knowledge is great as is their service.
