I am currently in the market for a new Trek bike (upgrade from my current bike), so I contacted Don Krieg at Elevation Cycles Parker (with whom I dealt when I bought my current Trek bike in January 2020...before COVID!) since he was so helpful during my last buying experience. He guided me through the bicycle-lack-of-inventory situation and managed to find 1 of the bikes that was on my list that hopefully will be ready for purchase in late August of this year. (I could have waited until NEXT summer if I wanted a specific color or model.) Don was informative, full of helpful knowledge when asked to compare different Domane models, and was a pleasure to speak with during our call. THANK YOU!

When I decided to get a bike for exercise it has been about 45 years since I last rode one. They have changed so much I new nothing about them. On the recommendation of a friend I went to Elevation Cycles in Parker. I explained my situation to Sam and he went straight to the Trek Dual Sport 1. I test rode a Large and he immediately said I needed the XL. I rode that and liked it. I asked a lot of questions and he offered a lot of knowledge. It was more money than I expected but I bought the bike plus a few extras. I was very happy with the purchase.
Since then I have been back a few times for inner tubes, sealant, a bell, phone holder, lock, 2nd water bottle and cage, etc. Sam and Don have always been helpful and offered excellent advice.
Recently my rear derailleur broke. They had the derailleur and chain but had to order the hanger. It went on backorder. Kyle was able to find the part and got my bike repaired. I was frustrated by the delay but understand it was beyond their control and I appreciate What Kyle did to get my bike working.
When I got my bike back I took it for a short test ride and everything was fine. The next day I rode 26.5 miles and the bike worked perfectly. The following day I noticed a wobble in the rear wheel. I drove it back to the shop. Kyle, asked why I was back. I explained and spun the back wheel to show him the wobble. He said "Let's check it out" and took the bike to the back. In about 10 minutes he brought it back out and said I was good to go. He said 2 spokes had worked loose, he tightened them, checked the others, adjusted the brakes, and checked the shifting. No charge.
I was frustrated by the delay in the original repair but the follow up is one of the reasons I've been very happy with Elevations.

The service department rocks! They got my bike fixed SO quickly, and very reasonably. They saved me a bunch of money by checking it over and suggesting time lines for future work. And, they did a suspension quick set up check before I left! And taught me how to adjust my rebound. They will always have my loyalty, and I’m delighted to recommend this most welcome addition to our neighborhood!
You were able to squeeze me in and make a very quick adjustment so I could participate in a ride this weekend and also suggested some additional repairs at a reasonable price....which I'm having done next week.

I realize supply is low and demand is high but demanding full retail price is not customer focused. I would have hoped for something to make me feel good about the purchase whether it be a small discount, free or discounted accessory; something...
