I love this bike store! I value a place that has been around for decades & is family owned & run. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable. The selection of bikes is varied & there is something for everyone. You don't have to be a professional racer type to be treated respectfully. Thank you for being there. I hope you are around for another four-plus decades at least!

I commute from SF to Redwood City via the Cal Train, and have needed emergency repairs twice. In both instances, Kevin, Mike and Becky were so friendly and helpful and the repairs were of high quality and very expedient allowing me to get back to work and back home at the end of the day. I was so impressed the first time I had contact with the shop (blown rear tire) that I recommended the shop to a friend and she purchased a Trek electric bike. Needless to say, that experience was absolutely tops. Kevin helped my friend pick out a bike and then helped with accessories she needed. I would recommend this bike shop to anyone considering purchasing a bike. For commuters, the support is beyond reproach. My chain recently gave up the ghost while leaving the train station en route to work, and if it were not for Becky and Mike, I would have been stranded. I wish I had known about Chain Reaction Cycles when I first decided to start bike commuting. The bottom line is, you'll need a solid shop you can rely on if you're using a bike as your main method of transportation, and these guys are it.

Excellent customer service. I went in with a precise idea as to what i wanted, but had lots of options in my mind. I was treated with great care, detail and follow up. I walked out happy and satisfied in 60 min with my new trek bike. They helped load it into car, and provided great tips and tricks. they also helped me sign up with bike vendor. Very seamless, very quick.
Always pleased with a well meaning and knowledgeable crew which is there to help and make you feel taken care of; something which is surely missing in growing franchises and can only be expected in a family owned business.

Service for bikes purchased at their store is great
They worked with SRAM to replace a RED eTap derailleur that was still under warranty. It took one week. To my surprise, they didn’t charge labor. So I was able to buy a new Pearl Izumi jersey (on sale!) and a pair of Pearl Izumi socks.
