My daughter and I had a great day out at Coed-y-Brenin bike park.
I had a small issue with my own bike (my daughter hired a bike) and a mechanic from the shop sorted it out for me. I’d removed my wireless derailleur for packing my bike in the car and had tightened the fixing screw up a little too tight. The bike park itself is beautiful and the scenery in places is like the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
I’ve heard the Welsh government wants to shut this park. This would be a travesty. It is easily one of the best MTB parks in Europe and I’m sure it generates worthwhile income for the local economy.

Excellent store location, equipped with a good selection of bikes, equipment and accessories.
After an initial look around I returned a couple of days later and purchased a bike after a nice test ride and discussion with staff member.
All the Maidstone team seemed very knowledgeable and friendly and catered to my needs answering all my questions without being patronising based on my limited knowledge.
Would definitely recommend the store and will look to use for any future purchases, servicing and bike needs.
Only negative was the fact that you need to pay for the parking.

The Trek product speaks for itself but you cannot beat the experience of going into a shop and getting fantastic customer service. This was my experience from the moment I stepped in to the shop and met Pete to the day I rolled out my new bike. Friendly, knowledgeable and offering advice on products, bike fits and equipment. Pete made the whole experience simple and enjoyable (even as a Yorkshireman spending a decent amount of money).
