By not telling me that I had to clean my carpets before I have the carpets cleaned. Was not aware that I would be charged $25 x room to vacuum. There was no excessive debris, bodily fluids or anything gross on the floors. I have pictures. I had no choice but to succumb to the $75 extra charge fee or else my child would have been late to school because I didn’t not have time to vacuum it myself. My neighbors all gathered around to talk to me about the carpets getting cleaned. They all saw the ZeroRez van outside. They wanted to know information. When I told them about the extra fee for vacuuming, my next door neighbor was appalled. You see, she took care of this townhouse for 30 years before my uncle bought it. She had been inside the unit the day before to see the how the carpet look after McFarland stretched it. She said there was nothing extraordinary about the carpet. Another neighbor said they would have vacuumed it for me for free, had I let them know. I explained to my neighbors that I would be in contact with ZeroRez and that it was probably a training issue with the rep that came out to do the work. I’m certain it’s a simple misunderstanding. I told the neighbors that I would give you the opportunity to make things right. Word spreads Last name removed. There are 288 townhouses in my community. I am helping my uncle get his unit ready to move in to my complex and this was not my home. I don’t have carpet in my home so when neighbors were telling me that I paid too much or that I should have used their carpet cleaners, I explained to them that my uncle did not want “crunchy” carpet.

These 3 rooms are very small: only 9’x10, 10’x10, 11’x10, plus stairs and a tiny hallway. My uncle thought I was going to get him the advertised TV special price. I explained to him that he got the special price but these additional charges were “fees”.
He is not happy.
My friends and family that I’ve spoken to about this have never had to clean their carpets before having their carpets cleaned. This was a vacant home and there was no vacuum. No furniture, just fresh paint.

I had to go back to the apartment after the carpet was dry. It still looks dirty and the whole apartment smelled bad. I had to turn in the keys, so there's nothing you can do about it. I feel sorry for the new tenant. Even though I put $370 into having the carpet in the two bedrooms cleaned, it is far from clean.

I have, so far this year, had mostly all my upholstery cleaned and am very pleased with the results! In a couple of weeks, the carpeting in my three bedrooms......
