i have used zerorez many times, mostly because the ads insist that zerorez has the best cleaning, and can get ANY stain our. 2 times ago one of the technicians pulled a stain i didn't know i had, and it created a huge spot that necessitated having another person come out and remove carpet and replace the stained carpet...i never complained even though it compromised the carpet in the master bedroom.
i was very disappointed with my last encounter, the technician was not very professional. i told him i had 2 rooms that had just been cleaned by zero rez but i went on vacation, and while i was gone, the dogs made a mess on the carpets b c the person i hired, did not do their job and keep the dogs in their crates. i pointed out the areas to be cleaned, not whole rooms, just areas of each room. He focused in on those areas pre testing them for possible "odors" after an initial cleaning. when i said i did not want to pay extra , he hounded me about the stains, insisting i spend money to pre treat the areas. None of your previous employees pressured me like that. before he left, i had him take his uv light and shine it on a bedroom i had zerorez clean 2 times, once w normal carpet cleaning, and the second time, we treated the carpet for odors and then cleaned again. with your techs uv light, the stains were still apparent, in that bedroom. The most recent tech did "offer" to not charge me for the pet treatment in $60 to treat minimal areas in 3 rooms, but i paid him. I was not going to pay $60 a room, as the stains in each room all added together, did not add up to the area of one entirely stained bedroom. This last experience with zerorez left me feeling like i was dealing with "regular" carpet companies again....were you running a promo on selling customers unnecessary treatments? I ask this because i am still investigating whether treating carpets for pet stains, prior to cleaning actually keeps the stains from showing in the future via uv or black lights. i will probably check with consumer reports about whether any carpet cleaning company can actually get rid of pet / body fluids when they are scanned by a uv or black light. I am willing to bet that the owners of the company do not read or never hear of my feedback the radio stations rave about your service...me ...the last 2 experiences have changed my perspective

Stuck to the allotted slot time. Efficient and courteous. Able to get most of the stains out when I thought they wouldn't.
The results were awesome
Joseph, the representative who cleaned the carpets this last time, did an excellent job. Yes, he did up-sell me, but he seemed to be dedicated to his products, and I decided to try them. He assured me that if the stains returned, he would come out and clean them again, free of charge. He's the best, most convincing representative from any company I've had into my house. I'm sure that his mother, as well as his company, is very proud of him.
Be more upfront about the cost. Like treating pet stains. and the $10 for I don't remember what. I didn't like having to negotiate what I had already discussed on the phone with the guy who came to clean. I had already taken the day off so I didn't want to start over calling vendors and price comparing. I think you're being deceptive about your fees when you say one thing over the phone and then come out and say, oh, it'll be this much more if you want to address anything that smells bad or particular stains. x,y,z. I will say he did a good job cleaning.
I'm always happy with the cleaning outcome. This time, I was charged more than quoted and while a customer service rep was quick to respond when I pointed out the error, its been more than two weeks and a credit has not been issued. I paid by credit card so issuing a credit should be easy. I'd like to receive the credit in a timely manner.

Tech did not even attempt to remove stains. Carpet was still wet after 48 hrs. Pet odor still apparent.
