I live in the middle of nowhere, Chester County. I'm a little closer to the Kennett Y, and it's on the way to work, so that's my "go to" for weekday mornings. I've started swimming again, and prefer the pool at WCAY for a weekend swim. Both Y's provide me clean, well-equipped places with friendly fellow-members and knowledgeable and helpful staff. The Y is my community.

Classes offered

Friendly people that make the y feel like you're home ;) and amazing group classes with a well rounded assortment of equipment - free weights, squat racks etc...

I love that I can bring the children to the babysitting for 2 hours while I work out. I wish there were more activities for the children such as gymnastics, sports, etc. offered at the Airport Road location. I see many of them are offered at other branches.

Every one is so helpful and friendly.

I love the community at West Chester YMCA. The childcare is outstanding, the fitness classes are excellent and the community events are interesting. We love the Y!

The outdoor camp has been great for my daughter! She gets plenty of time outside playing and swimming. It’s an awesome place to have my daughter during the summer.

It’s organized. I felt like my kids safety was a priority, and each day they came home so happy because they had tons of fun.

I have only belonged to this Y for two weeks, but I am impressed by the cleanliness, the modern facility and equipment, and the friendly staff. And also unlike other Y's there is a nice separation between the areas occupied by children and adults.
