I love the early hours where you get to chat in the early morning with others waiting for the opening. Once inside there's no waiting for equipment which has been cleaned for us early risers. The staff generally knows your names.
Gino is phenomenal on the personal training side and the entire staff is attentive and helpful. Facilities are kept in great shape.
I am very happy with the programs at eh WCYMCA. There is a good variety, lots of courses oriented towards seniors, and generally I have liked all the ones that I have undertaken.
The instructor makes it fun to exercise!
I work out in the health club occasionally. Mostly at the Berwyn Y.
The variety
The facility is very clean! Generally you will see the winter street salt in the changing room in other ymca locations, but I never see this happen at West Chester Y. It really feels comfortable here.

First, having two friendly, positive and knowledgeable MERs working the front desk in the Welcome Center at the same time enables members to have their questions and concerns addressed. Members remember their first experience with a gym as they come in - Primacy and they remember their last experience- leaving the facility-Recency. The fitness area is an excellent set up-quite well optimized. Your Egym is engaging, it helps members optimize their workouts, Egym is quite an investment and it demonstrates that you care. Also the email addressing the snow emergency was perfect, it shows you care. Finally, asking for feedback like this shows that you are a learning organization a critical component for success! Awesome job⭐️
The instructors and the others taking the class make for a pleasant experience. I also like the e-gym very much as it is fast moving and it makes me feel comfortable lifting weights as your weight is set for you. The indoor rec pool is a very nice place to bring young children.
