Consistently sending PSW/caregivers to provide service for me when they are not properly trained. Examples such as operating a ceiling lift or common sense of how a sling works. I feel like there is absolutely no screening involved during the hiring process of the PSW/caregivers. Most caregivers were trained by me, as the client and had to instruct very basic common sense knowledge to provide for the caregiver who is supposed to provide care for me. Having to use Nurse Next Door’s services for over a year, I have gathered information of my own as well as other clients out in the community to sum up that most of the caregivers being hired by nurse next door is completely unsafe, untrained, lazy and not qualified to provide any Home care services to clients with mobility aids or cognitive decision making clients. However, the call-center agents are fairly reasonable and decent when needing schedules changed.I would not suggest Nurse Next Door to anyone that I know due to the fact that the care designer that I am currently working with goes back on her words and the company’s policy based on her judgement that I am a different categorized client. Having said, all of the qualities listed on Nurse Next Door’s website is completely not reliable to me. I cannot say that for everyone, but this is my personal experience. I hope my input can help you reflect on the hiring qualification and care standards.

Responsive but times vary too much

Over billed invoice. Left several emails and voicemails to address the issue. But never did get a call back. Since then, never used Nurse Nest Door again.

your company was absolutely useless. We needed you to do the simple task of picking up food from the kitchen, second floor, and dropping it off at my moms suite, 1st floor. This was a 14 day quarantine situation and your people did not have the needed PPE. I paid for 2 hours every meal time, your people were expected to keep my mom company. One of them had the nerve to go out and have a smoke as soon as she got there. Not only will I not be recommending your services, I will be telling as many people as possible that you should not be in the care profession. No one you sent cared at all, nor did your reps on the phone and the people in your billing department sent me a paid receipt well before you took my money. I didn't want to make a fuss but I could have. Worst experience, you took advantage of a family that needed help.
