On my recent visit, I had to have the catalytic converter replaced because the car failed its smog test. Precision Tune not only replaced the converter, but they also got the smog test done for me. That saved me a trip to the DMV. Courtesies like this keep me coming back whenever I need something done. I recommend Precision Tune to everyone I know.
The technicians there thoroughly explained any suggested repairs and take the customer to visually look at them before a decision is made. I’ve been going to them for about 30 years now and it’s always been based on trust which is a scarce commodity these days. They are skilled knowledgeable and do everything possible to make sure the customer satisfied in hopes of having that return business..

The staff at Precision Tune Auto Care is fantastic. The team is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They helped me when an unexpected issue with my car happened on a SATURDAY morning as I was leaving for Houston. I contacted them, explained my situation, and they said they would look at my vehicle as soon as I could get there. Within an hour, they diagnosed the problem, explained what was needed, and the cost to repair. Precision Tune Auto Care exceeded my expectations. I will never forget their willingness to help me without delay, ensuring I didn't get on the road before knowing if my vehicle was safe to drive. After making other travel arrangements, I approved the repair. They got the parts, made the repair, and the car was ready for pick up by the end of the day on Monday. I have already used them to service another vehicle, which I brought in without an appointment, and in 2 hours, they called to say the car was ready. Precision Tune Auto Care has given me every reason to use them for all my vehicle needs and to recommend them to everyone I know. Important footnote: The first mechanic shop I called that Saturday morning was Advanced Auto Car, on Jefferson Hwy. After explaining my unexpected situation, I was told they were too busy and wouldn't be able to look at my car until maybe Wednesday. Some things are just worth remembering.
