I have historically liked Downeast Energy over other options available to me. The main reason is that Downeast is a local brand. They're part of a larger conglomerate now but the service appears to remain the same. I would have given this a 10 but due to a happening with a recent delivery I am at a 9. I have camera surveillance on my home and during a recent delivery event this week I witnessed the driver so something that was careless and had the potential to cause damage.
I have many holiday decorations outside around my home. One particular item is strings of lights that go from the peak of the roof down to the ground and make up a half circle that mimics the shape of a tree. This has been part of my Christmas display for many years and the delivery person would walk up and around that part of the display to get to the fill spout for oil. When there is snow on the ground I clean a path in such a manner to allow this to happen as well. This delivery person proceeded to walk through the display instead, between strings of lights and spot lights mounted in the ground snagging the light strings on their clothing and the hose for oil. As they exited they obviously returned the same way repeating the snagging of lights and the house, now doubling back on itself, was wider then the distance between two strands of lights and was carelessly pulled back to the truck causing the lights to stretch away and bounce around quite violently.
Thankfully, everything worked that evening.

I would not recommend Downeast Energy to anyone. I called for a delivery for propane on December 3, 2024 and I did not receive the delivery until December 13, 2024, although my credit card was debited for $700.00 on December 3, 2024.

Been using Down East Energy since 1980 when company was Brunswick Coal and Lumber. Purchased my home material from them. Have always had good service from Downeasr . Will continue to use them. Highly recommend their products .
Mostly you have been very helpful, the when my furnace stopped working during the night, the repair man did not come until late in the afternoon the next very cold day.

When you have auto delivery and yout website shows me 19%,, I still find out a ticket to refill hasn't put in, so I must call, kind of defeats auto delivery.
